In this qualitative study, Creative UK’s findings show that while technology adoption is underway across creative industry subsectors, strategic intent does not translate automatically into widespread diffusion. Structural constraints such as limited organisational capacity and a lack of governance infrastructure create significant gaps in technology adoption across different sized organisations. The report recommends a coordinated response for the sector that focusses on constructive routes to reduce structural frictions.
