Benchmarking Leadership Diversity in the Creative & Cultural Industries

About the paper
As the Creative Industries Sector Plan opens new opportunities for the sector’s growth across the next ten years; Creative UK recognises the importance of increased diversity and inclusion to achieving this aim. Our theory of change proposes that an increase in the diversity of leadership is the key catalyst for diversifying the sector’s workforce. To begin this journey of change we need to know where we are starting from. By gathering data on creative and cultural sector leadership diversity we identify the pervasive nature of underrepresentation in the creative and cultural sector’s leadership and shared recommendations for how to move forward.
