About the research
These reports have been published to inform the proposed Single Front Door (SFD) for creative firms seeking to unlock investment opportunities. The reports are based on research undertaken within DCMS' Create Growth Programme and fulfil a Creative Industries Sector Plan commitment to create a 'single front door' for creative firms to access information on how to identify and unlock private investment. The phase 1 report (Presentation of Evidence) presents findings from research examining how creative firms navigate investment-related information. The phase 2 report (Investor Perspectives) tests the findings of the first report from an investor perspective and explores what a credible Single Front Door could look like.
